Stayed at a place with a "garden view," but it was just a courtyard. At least towels were included, yay.
The "concierge service" was nonexistent, and don't get me started on the so-called airport proximity.

The personal touch of having someone in the wine shop below helping us was mind-blowing. The house had fabulous wines to choose from, adding a super touch. The location couldn't have been better as it was right in the center of the historic area. Upon arrival, Craig welcomed us warmly and the cleaning lady, although not finished, greeted us with smiles and assisted with our luggage. The kitchen had a huge pack of chocolates, bread, crisps, biscuits, cereals, etc. The fridge was stocked with milk, jams, butter, and fruit juice. The quality of towels, bed linen, and decor were top-notch, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location was great for visiting the castle/cathedral, and we were treated to spectacular Red Arrows displays every day. We would definitely recommend this property and have plans to return. The location in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter was fantastic, with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and main shops just a 5-minute walk away. The warm welcome we received from the staff in the wine shop downstairs added to the charm and character of the house. Although it appeared small from the outside, the rooms inside were surprisingly spacious. The beds were comfortable, and there was minimal noise at night. The thoughtful welcome pack on arrival, which included bread, juice, and milk, was much appreciated. Communication with the owner, Rob, was excellent. we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Great location, right in the heart of the city. Close to bars, restaurants, and shops. The house had a lot of character and charm. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and the beds were comfortable. The welcome pack was a nice touch, with plenty of snacks and drinks. The communication from the owner was excellent.
The big bath was a bit of a disappointment as it took forever to fill up due to the slow tap. The parking situation was also inconvenient, as the permit street parking was quite a walk away.
